There one big bed built of rock, for two, one smaller one for one as well as a big sofa, also made of rock, that can accomodate one more person.The house is built within and arround a rock, which provides it with a really picturesque character. Due to the way it is built, the room is cool during the hot summer days, and pretty warm during the cold winter nights. As for cooling/heating there is aircoditioning available. There is one bathroom as well as a fully equiped kitchen, a big wardrobe, a refidgerator and a TV so that you can feel at home. The view from the room is breathtaking at the very least, as you can see all of the village of Ioulida, which is built amphitheatrically on two opposing hills. Guest access Ioulida -the capital of Kea- is located 5 Km away from Korissia, the port of the island, and is built in the place where the ancient city of Iulis used to be more than two and a half thousand years ago. Full of tradinional and modern cafeterias and taverns as well as a museum and countless sightseeings, Ioulida is a traditional village, which is as picturesque as it gets, and admittedly one of the most beatiful villages of the Aegean islands. Its eblem is the famous ancient lion, a sclupture that decorates the village since ancient times. Access to Ioulida is pretty easy especially during the summer months, as there is a local bus that will take you to many places arround Kea, one of which is Ioulida. Please note the property is located on a traditional small street of Chora and its not accessible by car only on foot. Also you need to climb 25-30 steps to reach the entrance.

It is a protected settlement, as it is built on the ruins of the homonymous ancient city. Please note the property is located on a traditional small street of Chora and its not accessible by car only on foot. Also you need to climb 25-30 steps to reach the entrance. In Ioulida is the most important attraction of the island, Leo, an archaic 6th century statue, 8 meters long glued to a rock. Don't forget to visit the Archaeological Museum of Kea with remarkable exhibits of the island.
